The Youth Employment Program provides youth ages 12 through 24 with opportunities to learn about the world of work through job training, life-skills development programs and full and part-time employment.

ANNUAL JOB FAIR & SUMMER EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
Once you have submitted an approved application packet, identification and resume (which are available annually in April) you will be invited to the Job Fair. You MUST attend the Job Fair to be considered for a summer job.
An employment program designed to give 14-15 year olds a hands-on career experience via gardening, nutrition and an environmental education-based curriculum.
JUNIOR COUNSELOR TRAINING PROGRAM
This is a first time, paid job experience for those who love children. Participants work in local After School Centers as Teachers Aides Monday-Thursday and home work related skills on Fridays. Offered in 6-8 week cycles October-April.
Training and Life-Skills Development Programs
Young people 11-16 can register for the 6 hour course to learn leadership, safety, basic care, and enhance their skills to start their own babysitting business. Click here for the registration form.
EXPLORING CAREER PATHWAYS
This lunchtime speaker series, offered at White Plains High School, targets various careers and offers youth the opportunity to hear from professionals who share their stories and tell them how to best prepare for their future. (Offered weekly in the College Career Center)
WESTCHESTER WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY FOR YOUTH (WWDAY)
Created to serve 18 - 24 year olds and equip them with the skills needed to be successful in today's job market by providing job readiness training, life skills instruction, and occupational skills training.
THIS WAY AHEAD
A partnership with GAP Inc. and The Door for youth 16 and older, that provides job readiness and life skills training which leads to a paid-in store internship at Old Navy, Gap, and Banana Republic stores.
